This is Moose - hes almost 12 and loves cold water, snow, and hikes of all kind. Weve probably hiked 10k miles w/him over the years and although hes slowing down and can no longer do the most strenuous hikes hes still 100% able to go on lots of adventures although as hes gotten older he has decided that he hates camping/backpacking and sleeping in tents.

I returned her to the rescue when I left Houston, since it wouldn’t work for me to keep fostering her. She was adopted to a forever home soon after, but I haven’t heard anything about how she’s doing. But nothing I did in around year of fostering made much difference. Had I known I was going to have her so long I would have seen if I could have done a class or something, since it’s a pretty big defect.

I’d been waiting all day for a decent background as the lighting was good. Thank you. I think it is one of the better photos I’ve taken. I would say my real forte is in the composition not the technical skills as I don’t do much editing (just a contrast bump and lighting tweak) to most photos and I don’t own a good camera.

I think it is the novel compositions that interest me. I have a thing for using chain link to direct the focus of a shot.

Probably not. The last two pups we had were 12 and 15. We now have a 5 year old and a 18 mo  old so we’ll probably get a puppy for the kids. Quite frankly I haven’t had a puppy in almost 25 years so I kinda want to start fresh.

The wife comes home and the dog ferociously digs her way out of the blankets on the couch. She can be pretty rowdy. Shelter dog hits the jackpot coming here. So spoiled as all of our critters.

Yes, Yorkie. Best dog I ever had. Huge personality, super friendly with eve ryone and ever ything (except cats, squirrels and chipmunks). He was an incred ible friend and companion will. I miss him very much .

I’ve been looking for another dog in the last couple weeks. I’ve never done this before, and I’m not certain if I am ready to have another dog yet. I had such a strong bond with Willy, like no other dog in my life.

All my dogs have been someone else’s dog before they were mine, so I was offered the dog, not actively seeking one. They have all been good dogs, except for one the one that was a biter . I believe that I need a dog in my life, and there is a dog out there that needs me.  When the time is right, we will find each other.
